“Monday, Monday…”

      I had originally posted a video containing the entire movie of “A Hard Day’s Night”, that showed the Beatles at their funniest, and most endearing.  This turned out to be the only way I ever got to see them for myself when I was about 14.  They charmed me back then, and again recently when I watched their movie on cable tv.

   However, thanks to copyright issues, the channel who had supplied that video took it down, so all I can do is put up a video of the Beatles singing the title song from their movie:

.        So, what I will do instead, is post 5 videos of Sherlock Holmes movies from the 1930’s to 1940’s, starring that wonderful character actor, Basil Rathbone, and his lovable side-kick, Dr. Watson, played perfectly by Nigel Bruce–please enjoy!

   I’m sorry the movies are not in order by year made, but I just found them on YouTube, and wanted to get them posted asap!

  Before I finish this blog entry, I just want to include a small clip of Paris as it seems to have become recently.  I mean, really?!  Anyone still saving for that Paris vacation?!

 The world’s most beautiful, and romantic, city being overrun to the point at which it makes Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco in 1967 actually look good!  What a shame!  And, why aren’t those responsible in those European govt.s being hauled up on charges for allowing this to take place, and bringing those people into Europe minus any plans to really help them?!

       So, the Paris population is now having to deal with violence against themselves, including rapes, as well as the knee-high trash piles in their streets, being stolen from right and left, and whole families reduced to sleeping on mattresses on the city sidewalks, all due to having no place else to go!  It’s criminal, and those in charge of this debacle need to be hauled into court, and made to pay the penalties for allowing it all to take place!

{That evening in Paris just might be more like a ‘day without sunshine’   https://i2.wp.com/www.clker.com/cliparts/a/0/b/3/1206565666387450766Anonymous_simple_weather_symbols_9.svg.thumb.png   these days, than the romantic notion   https://i2.wp.com/www.clker.com/cliparts/b/8/8/b/12065755151087144907papapishu_Riding_couple_4.svg.thumb.png    it’s been up until now!}
